As of right now I'm writing this quick journal from a public library computer...

A few days ago, my computer hard drive suffered a catastrophic failure and refuses to boot up. I suspect there may have been some damage inflicted on it as a result of a bad drop that occurred shortly before the failure. The damage unfortunately occurred before my monthly backup occurred and system recovery is also not an option at this point. Along with my hard drive I lost all of my photo-editing and morphing programs. My card collection is alright, but I don't have the ability to make new ones for the time being. I back up my creations, but not my programs because I do not have the backup space necessary to backup my programs. Nor do I have backup discs because everything I have came off of downloaded torrents from The Pirate Bay.

Needless to say this upset me, but thankfully the computer is under warranty and I expect to either have a new hard drive or an entirely new computer by next week at the earliest. Until that time, all deviantart activity by me is suspended. There may be new story chapters which I can upload from anywhere, but there won't be any new cards for a while. I lost all my stock pictures for the cards as well (I swore that I had them backed up on my external hard drive, but when I looked they weren't there). This also sets me back because now I have to retrace my footsteps and re-download them once I have my new computer.

So needless to say it will be awhile. My apologies to everyone who was expecting new material from me. I'll make up for it when I have the opportunity.
